Announcing: CrossFit 673 Jerudong

We are very excited to officially announce the opening of CrossFit 673 Jerudong!  Over the last few months, we and the Adertons have been partnering with Mike Mogard, owner and head trainer at Reebok CrossFit 673 in Berakas, to open a new box (CrossFit lingo for 'gym') affiliated with Reebok CrossFit 673 that will be located in a different area of the city, called Jerudong.  Now that we have received word from CrossFit that we are approved as an official CrossFit affiliate we can announce our news to the Internet and the world!

While we have thoroughly enjoyed our time training and participating at CF673 while the Mogards were in the U.S. on holiday, we are excited that opening a new box will allow us to share our passion for fitness and holistic health with more people, grow the CrossFit brand in Brunei, and make attending a CrossFit box a more convenient option for those living in the northern part of the city.   

Renovations are currently in progress and if everything goes as planned we are hoping to open sometime in February.  Unfortunately, the shophouse space we are renting doesn't have water or electricity set up yet, since it was only used as a storage unit in the past, so we need the building owners to handle that before we can continue with further renovations: power washing, painting, laying flooring, and installing equipment.  We are praying the progress with the water and electricity goes quickly so that we can move forward soon.

In the mean time, we are doing as much work as we can that doesn't involve working on the physical space.  This means we've been busy creating a logo, setting up a website and social media, marketing and promoting, and setting up our accounting/financial systems.
