30 Day Challenges

We like to do 30 Day Challenges and we especially like it when our friends and blog readers do them with us!

Here's a post about why we decided to start doing 30 Day Challenges.

These are the challenges we've done so far and links where you can read all about our experiences:
  • Take a photo every day (Intro, Update, Nicole's Photosour friend Jake's Photos)
  • Drive only one car (our manual truck) between the two of us for a month (Intro, Update)
  • Spend 15 minutes a day practicing something we'd like to get better at: violin for Nicole and flexibility/stretching for Justin (Intro, Update)
  • Go to bed by 10 p.m. (Intro)
  • Don't be late (Intro)
  • (2 month "break" caring for a newborn)  :)
  • Tell each other "I Love You" in 30 different ways (Intro, Update)
  • Crossfit for a month (Intro)
  • Try a different beer every day (Intro, Update)
  • No added/refined sugar for a month (Intro, Update)
  • Listen to a new band/singer every day (Intro)
  • No Internet at home (Update)
  • Read a book for 30 minutes/day (Intro, Update)
  • Create a collage with one item/day (Intro, Update)
  • Yoga for a minimum of 10 minutes/day
These are some ideas we have for future challenges:
  • Write a poem a day
  • Create an art/craft
  • Facebook/email 30 people you haven't connected with recently
  • Read a newspaper from 30 different countries
  • No caffeine
  • No screens (tv/computer/phone) after 7 pm
  • Give something away for 30 days
