I had the privilege last week of attending a high tea at The Empire, a very fancy hotel/resort here, to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was pretty much the real life equivalent of everything I had dreamed about having a tea party as a little girl: we dressed up in pretty dresses, sipped tea and nibbled on dainty biscuits, cucumber sandwiches, and desserts, and had lovely conversation. Such a fun way to celebrate someone on a special day and I hope to do it again sometime! (hint, hint Justin!) ;)
